Project details
A continuous street-park in Conil with a shared level surface, pedestrian and cycling priority and native planting across three intervention areas.
Developed with Buró 4 and BM2 under the ITI Cádiz programme, Arteria Verde prioritises people, creating space for walking, play and recreation across generations.
Plaza Blas Infante, the municipal market and Menéndez Pidal nursery school / El Punto roundabout are linked by a continuous street-park. Traffic-calming elements, step-free surfaces and bicycle parking connected to EuroVelo improve accessibility and mobility.
Permeable concrete, planting beds and tree pits manage runoff and cool the local microclimate. A selection of 17 planting species reinforces biodiversity, while fishing-related details express Conil’s identity.
