Sevilla Tech City

Nave Singer, C/ Lumbreras 35, Sevilla

Project details

A proposal to transform the Singer warehouse into a technology hub, with four distinct spaces beneath the original timber roof.

The former Singer warehouse on Calle Lumbreras 35 is proposed as the home of Sevilla Tech City. Existing masonry walls, brick columns and the pitched timber roof with its continuous skylight are retained and released for work, meetings and public events.

Four areas share the hall: Espacio Sideral for exhibitions and talks; Esqueleto, a curved timber reception and networking enclosure; Bosque de Ideas, a collective workspace beneath tree-like timber structures; and Chill Net, a softer landscape for individual work and relaxation.

The proposal combines heritage rehabilitation and temporary architecture. The existing hall contributes scale, overhead light and industrial memory, while organic timber interiors express community, openness, innovation and sustainability.
