New Settlements in Equatorial Guinea

A large-scale commission for new settlements using a shared planning language of main roads, central civic squares, housing types and planted open spaces, individually adapted to terrain, existing vegetation and local conditions.

Tropical comfort — shade, cross-ventilation and water — is combined with open blocks, sheltered streets, gardens and trees as public-space structure. Settlements include Mbon Elon, Mebam, Milon Mite, Nvom, Abum Ayene, Ogoma Eseng, Akok, Andom Ovang, Oyala and Mebere.
